Ochatabi® Mobile Cafe in Higashiyama

木村徳彦

It was also featured in the local Shizuoka Shimbun newspaper.

The Higashiyama region is a place where wonderful initiatives are being undertaken, such as local people making tea by hand, using the scenery of Mt. Awa and the tea fields as a tourist resource to entertain many people, and practicing the tea grass farming method, which has been registered as a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Site.

By participating in this stall, I was able to come into contact with the local people and experience the taste of Higashiyama tea, which felt nostalgic and temporary.

The wind was very strong that day and it was quite tough, but it was a good experience.

Thank you very much to everyone in the Higashiyama area and to all the customers who came.
