What is edible tea "Lapeso"? Cooking Edition
朋響木村Share
Do you know the dish called La Pesaw? It is a pickled tea leaf dish eaten in northern Thailand and Myanmar. Apparently the bitterness and unique flavor of the tea are addictive... I was curious to try it! So I actually made it (lol)
Apparently, in the local area, steamed tea leaves are placed in bamboo tubes and left to ferment for a long period of time, but today we'll introduce you to an easy-to-make recipe that you can make at home!

STEP1
Add about 2% salt (not included in the recipe) to the amount of hot water and boil the tea leaves for 30 to 40 minutes.
If it turns out this color, it's OK!
STEP2
After removing the tough stems, add all the squeezed-out tea leaves and seasonings to a boiled and sterilized jar.
The softness of the leaves varies depending on the season, so remove any parts that bother you.
Leave it like this until fermentation begins...zzz
To be honest, I can't say it looks good. Is it really delicious? ... No, you shouldn't judge things based on preconceived ideas! I'm sure it's delicious (laughs).
The tasting version will be released soon! Until next time(@^^)/~~~
