Kakegawa City is one of Japan's leading producers of deep-steamed tea, having won the most awards in the deep-steamed tea category at the National Tea Tasting Competition. Deep-steamed tea is popular for its refreshing sweetness and delicate, deep flavor.
The small buds are picked around the 88th day after the tea leaves have sprouted, so the yield is small and this tea is rare. We carefully crafted this tea to preserve the delicate flavor of the soft buds.
