Chawa-ya Kakegawa Deep Steamed Tea Gift Set of 200 for Longevity and Health The results of the National Tea Competition, which was held in Uji City, Kyoto Prefecture for four days from August 23rd to August 26th, 2022, have been announced.
In the deep-steamed sencha category, the Santo Tea Industry Association received the highest award, the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award, and Kakegawa City received the Production Area Award for the 24th time in total (3rd year in a row).
At this year's competition, eight of the top ten places were taken by producers from the city, making their quality known nationwide.
