The results of the National Tea Fair held in Uji City, Kyoto Prefecture over four days from August 23 to August 26, 2022 have been announced.
In the deep-steamed sencha category, the Shandong Tea Industry Association won the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award, the highest award, and Kakegawa City won the production area award for the 24th time (three years in a row).
At this fair, eight of the top 10 products were taken by local producers, demonstrating their capabilities to the whole country.
